AirLine Wireless Instruments Systems Work with More GuitarsJul 23, 2002 Click image for closeup | Samson's AirLine instrument systems are not much bigger than a 1/4-inch plug and the "AAA" battery that powers it. There are a hand full of guitars, most notably the Fender Telecaster, that did not accept either of the two transmitters (AF1 for Strat style output jacks or AG1 traditional flat mount) until now. Samson has extended their 1/4-inch plug on both transmitters by 7mm to work with instruments with recessed jacks. The newly designed transmitters will replace the original transmitters and will be standard on all Samson AirLine Guitar and Bass Guitar systems. Each AirLine Instrument system has a MSRP of $499.99.
