Alan Pasqua (born 1952 in New Jersey) is a jazz pianist and composer who co-composed the CBS Evening News Theme. He also does pop and rock music. He studied at Indiana University and the New England Conservatory of Music.

After performing at Carnegie Hall he joined jazz drummer Tony Williams's The New Tony Williams Lifetime. After doing two albums with him he "crossed-over" to rock joining Eddie Money's band and also played keyboard on two albums by Bob Dylan. Those two being Bob Dylan at Budokan and Street-Legal. In the 1980s he performed with Starship on the album No Protection and with Carlos Santana on Havana Moon. He would also be a founding member of the rock band Giant.

Later his two solo works were in jazz and he also would work in the orchestra of his former teacher Thad Jones.

From 1984 to 1987 he was married to actress Heather Langenkamp. He is currently a lecturer in jazz studies at the University of Southern California.
