Alvarez-Yairi Introduces New Tonewood Series Guitars

Alvarez Yairi Guitars has announced the introduction of three new models to their Alvarez Yairi Tonewoods series of guitars.

The Alvarez Yairi DY95 ($1999.00 list) is a dreadnought sized guitar featuring a vintage tinted solid spruce top matched to solid Indian rosewood sides and back with a natural gloss finish. The fast action mahogany neck features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard inlaid with green abalone at the 12th fret position. The body of the DY95 features multi layer binding with green abalone inlaid around the soundhole rosette and a rosewood direct-coupled bridge.

The Alvarez Yairi FY95 ($1999.00 list) shares the same features as the DY95 in the smaller folk sized body.

The Alvarez Yairi Tonewoods series features guitars built by hand utilizing solid woods traditionally known for their tone and beauty. All guitars in the Tonewoods series feature the unique and eye catching direct-coupled bridge that allows the top vibrations to be maximized for the ultimate in volume, tone and sustain.
