Audio-Technica introduces two new product bundles, the AT4040SP and AT4041SP Studio Microphone Packs. Both bundles feature two mics from the acclaimed Audio-Technica 40 Series of condenser microphones, along with mounting hardware and protective wooden cases, in cost-effective packages. The AT4040SP Studio Pack offers one AT4040 large-diaphragm side-address cardioid condenser and one AT4041 cardioid condenser. The AT4041SP Studio Pack offers two AT4041 cardioid condensers.

The AT4040 side-address condenser microphone features an advanced large diaphragm tensioned specifically to provide smooth, natural sonic characteristics. A marriage of technical precision and artistic inspiration, the AT4040 offers exceptionally low noise, wide dynamic range and high-SPL capability for greatest versatility. The element back plate holds a fixed charge and has been aged to provide energy stabilization. The surface of the back plate is precision milled to ensure maximum charge linearity, resulting in a reduction in both frequency response peaks and diaphragm break-up distortion.
