B.C. Rich®, the original builder of guitars for heavy music, proudly introduces two new Archtop electric guitar models based on the company's iconic Mockingbird® and Eagle® designs. The new instruments feature classic B.C. Rich Neck-Through-Body construction using Mahogany for both the neck and body portions. The overall tonality is warm and penetrating, with an Ebony fingerboard and arched Flame Maple top providing just the right amount of presence and cut. The Archtop Mockingbird and Eagle each offer a 24-5/8-inch scale length and 24 jumbo frets for easy string bending and Rockfield® Mafia™ pickups for fat, sustaining tones. A unique Antique Violin Satin finish is artfully applied to both models. Grover® Rotomatic™ tuners are standard as is an adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop tailpiece. Satin Gold hardware is used throughout. "B.C. Rich Mockingbirds and Eagles were designed back in the mid-1970s," said Tim Keyes, product manager for B.C. Rich. "Giving them our new Antique Violin finish ties in with the natural wood finishes of the vintage B.C. Rich guitars. It's a natural progression." The new Archtop Mockingbird and Eagle guitars have a MAP price of $599.99.
