The BBE Sonic Maximizer plug-in, created by BBE in collaboration with audio software developer Virsonix, is now available exclusively as a download from the Cakewalk web site at www.cakewalk.com. The new Sonic Maximizer plug-in can be used with Cakewalk's new SONAR(tm) digital multitrack recording software, as well as with any other DirectX-compatible host application. The Sonic Maximizer, known for restoring "live presence" to recorded music, has become a mainstay in professional recording studios the world-over. - Highs are clearer, naturally brilliant and more finely detailed. Lows are tight, well-defined and harmonically rich.
- Guitars are "brought out of the mud" with clarity, definition, and harmonic complexity.
- Keyboards and synthesizers take on new realism. Percussive and plucked sounds are clear and sharp, chords are rich and full-textured, and each note in the chord retains its integrity.
- Electric & acoustic basses take on a rich, earthy "CD" sound. Five string players particularly appreciate what it does to the "B" string. It achieves an extremely tight, punchy bottom-end with all the presence, clarity and bite of the top end.
- Vocals cut through amplified instruments so they can be better heard. Lyrics of the song are no longer "buried in the mix."
- BBE sound processing brings out the full spectrum of sound, and expands the spatial dimension of stereo reverb and chorus.
The Sonic Maximizer DirectX Plug-in is now available as a download for $129 U.S.; registered Cakewalk customers can purchase the Sonic Maximizer download for $99 U.S. For more information or to download the BBE Sonic Maximizer, visit www.cakewalk.com. |
