BBE Sound Introduces DS24 And DS26 Digital Speaker Processors

BBE has introduced the DS24 and DS26 digital loudspeaker management systems.

While both feature a 5-band parametric equaliser for each output, the DS24 has 2 inputs and 4 outputs, the DS26 2 inputs and 6 outputs. Both also have a choice of 12, 18 or 24dB/Octave roll-off and Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley responses.

Other common features include independent control of each high and low pass filter allowing asymmetric crossover bands to be created, variable high and low pass filters, plus a high performance limiter providing control over attack, release and threshold parameters.

Both units also offer XLR inputs/outputs and selectable line voltage and can be controlled from a PC via an RS232 connection. In addition, the DS26 provides full metering for inputs and outputs with mute and access buttons allowing rapid setup and gain adjustment.

Carrying a 5 year warranty, both units are recommended for live sound rigs and installations.
