Well, I'm glad that you've been able to make it this far. As a reward, here's a fingerpicked tune that reminds me of Neil Young's "The Needle and the Damage Done". Measures 1-4 use the fingerpicking pattern from page 7, while measures 5-8 use the pattern from page 6. The main thing in a tune like this is try to make the notes ring for as long as possible....
Try taking these patterns and using them in your favorite tunes. We've already seen how they can be used on C, G, D, and Am. Try to use them on other chords that you see in the tunes you like to play.
