In this Stevie Ray Vaughan type blues lick, we start off with a classic use of the D->E bend first shown in page 2, and then continue with two bends that both start at the b3 (C) of the key. In the first bend starting on the C (1st string, 8th fret), we use a 2 fret bend up to the D, and in the second case, we use a 1 fret bend up to the C#. Again, the start note is the same for the last 2 bends, but the target note of the bend differs by a half step. The result is quite effective...
