Throughout the thirty-plus years he's been building archtop guitars, Robert Benedetto has epitomized the highest level of no-compromise quality in his instruments. He is one of the world's foremost archtop builders and holds a place in guitar history for all time. Many of his instruments fetch upwards of $75,000.

Benedetto also has a popular line of humbucker guitar pickups that bear his name. Now, this jazz guitar maker teams up with Seymour Duncan to offer the highest quality, no-compromise raneg of signature jazz guitar pickups available anywhere. All Benedetto guitar pickups will now be manufactured in Seymour Duncan's Santa Barbara, California facility. "When it comes to building pickups," says Benedetto, "you just don't get any better than Seymour and [chief engineer] Kevin Beller."

Aimed primarliy at jazz guitarist, the Benedetto product line is currently four models deep with teh S-Series, pickgaurd-mount, suspended humbuckers; the B-Series, full-size humbuckers; and the P.A.F. and A-Series, both of which are full-size, metal covered humbuckers. Both the S- and B- series are cast in Benedetto's proprietary Ebonova(TM) material and are available in 6- and 7-string versions. The P.A.F. and A-Series are available with either a gold-plated or black nickel-plated cover - the P.A.F. series are vintage-voiced and the A-Series have a fatter, warmer, "jazz tone."
