Sep 8, 2004

Berkleemusic, the online extension school of Berklee College of Music, has announced the addition of nine new online courses available for enrollment for their Fall semester, enrolling now for September 16th.

For those pursuing an interest in music production, Berkleemusic's new courses in Desktop Music Production for PC, Digital Performer 101, Making Music with GarageBand, Recording and Producing in the Home Studio, Making Music with Ableton Live, and Producing Music with Reason will provide you with the Berklee techniques necessary for producing music at home, using a variety of different software applications. Music Theory 201 will allow you to become a more effective player and writer by opening up your understanding of the elements that help to put the groove in jazz, pop, blues, and rock. Songwriters will find the best ways to adapt chords and progressions to suit their unique style and ideas in the Songwriting Workshop: Harmony course. Additionally, Berkleemusic's Web Design for Musicians course will present the visual, audio, and technical components essential to creating music-focused web sites.

Hew college credit certificate programs are being offered as well.
