We could bend up to these notes whenever we were on their respective chords. The layout on the guitar might look like this: cho|x|12|x|x|14|x|C# on A7|cho cho|x|x|12|x|x|14|F# on D7|cho |cr| In measure 1, we bend up to the C# for the A7. In measure 2, we bend up to the F# for the D7, and when we return to the A7 in measure 3, we finish we another bend up to the 3rd (C#).
