Buddy Jewell is a American country music performer.
Born in Osceola, Arkansas, he was the first winner of the Nashville Star country music singing contest, aired on the lifetime network. Prior to his Nashville Star triumph, Jewell had released two previous albums, but following his post-Nashville Star album, "Buddy Jewel", debuted at number one and earned him a gold record and two top five singles. He was released from his record label, Sony BMG/Columbia Records on November 9, 2005 [1].
