Del Rey is a well-known blues singer-songwriter and guitarist. Starting with classical music at the tender age of 4, she was transfixed by her first blues album and played blues and jazz ever since. Legend has it that she learned to play blues listening to guitar duets and trying to play both parts. Her latest album, with Texas bluesman Steve James, is Tonight.
