Denon Offers ACD-27 SMPTE Time Code Card for DN-C680 and DN-M1050R

Particularly useful in on-line video editing suites and post-production environments, the ACD-27 card allows the DN-C680 or DN-M1050R to respond to standard VTR commands, such as Play, Stop, Shuttle, Jog, Cue and more. Fully compatible with the standard IEC-461 longitudinal time code format, the accessory provides Time Code Chase Search. With the ACD-27, Video Sync or Word Sync may be selected in Preset mode, with Word Sync supporting 44.1 kHz (1%). Available in two versions--ACD-27CS for the DN-C680 CD player and ACD-27MS for the DN-M1050R MiniDisc recorder--the card is easy to install and provides a nine-pin RS-422 connector, a BNC video reference input, an XLR time code input and an additional BNC for Word clock synchronization.

Both ACD-27 versions carry a suggested retail price of $550.
