EH Introduces Tube Zipper Effects Pedal

After 3 years of joint development by Dutch underground vacuum tube legend Tom Barmentloo and Electro-Harmonix' Mike Matthews along with the entire EH engineering staff, Electro-Harmonix announces the immediate availability of the Tube Zipper.

The Tube Zipper is a tube-powered envelope follower and distortion, which together can produce wild overtones on extreme settings. Featuring two 12AX7EH vacuum tubes, the Zipper allows for plenty of tweaking with six control knobs - input gain, drive, sensitivity, frequency (to set the start/stop and peak filter frequencies), resonance (controls the Q of the filter, which can be driven into-self oscillation) and master volume. A pair of switches also allow you to have the filter sweep up or down, and change the sweep mode between a smooth envelope follower or adding modulation to the envelope for a trill-like effect.
