Evans Introduces Tom Packs

When Evans invented drumhead PrePaks, other drumhead manufacturers quickly followed suit. Evans has stayed ahead of the pack by offering drummers a wide array of head ensembles for toms and snare, giving drummers the right sound at a reduced cost.

Now Evans ups the ante in terms of choice, versatility and savings with our new Tom Packs. Available in the most popular models, in contemporary fusion and standard configurations, Evans Tom Packs enable players to switch over a full set of tom heads at a significant savings, while keeping their snare batter head options open. This will, once again, re-define the way drumheads are sold.

"We listened to players and dealers," says Evans Product Manager Mike Robinson. "Players told us that they wanted the option of replacing only their tom heads. They didn't want a company dictating their choice of snare drum head. By removing the snare head from our new Tom Packs, we enable players to personalize their sound. They can save on a full set of tom heads while choosing the exact snare batter they need."

Players typically choose the same tom head from small tom to large. But on snare drums, they might lean in a variety of directions that are hard to anticipate.

Evans Tom Packs retail for between $60.00 and $88.00 and will begin shipping August 1.
