Eventide Upgrades Software for Eclipse Processor

Eventide has released upgraded software for its Eclipse Harmonizer brand effects processor. The new software release adds over a dozen new features, plus over 50 new programs to the Eclipse.

Among the new features are enhancements to the Hotkeys functions, a comprehensive MIDI Sysex remote control protocol, control of a second Eclipse from one unit's front panel, and doubling of the number of User Programs that can be saved and stored in internal memory.

New programs include the shimmering, crystal-like Diamond Rain Echoverb, the orchestral Solstice Bells, RealRingmod ring modulator, and a new Rich Plate reverb, just to name a few. "We're thrilled to add these new features to Eclipse," said Eventide Audio Sales Manager Gerry Griffin. "The new software puts Eclipse even further out front as the most powerful effects unit in its class, with four times as many algorithms and far more effects on board as most competitors.
