FXpansion announced the availability of the affordable DR-005 DrumSampler VST Instrument. DR-005 is a 16-channel unit with four stereo outs, two programmable Choke Groups, 24-bit internal mixing, pitch control (+/- 1oct), and independent pitch and amplitude decay controls. All controls are available on the front panel, no additional editors are required. It can import any *.WAV file (AIFF files and possibly MP3 will be supported in a future relase). DR-005 also features an easy-to-use soundbank import/export feature, allowing you to exchange sound sets with friends and colleagues or over the Internet. DR-005 is compatible with Cubase VST/VST24 3.7 and higher, Logic Audio 4.2 Platinum/Gold/Silver and higher, Cubasis Audio VST, and any other VST2.0 Instrument - compatible host application.
