Gibson Guitar Hosts Interactive Booth At Summer NAMM 2007

Jul 20, 2007

Gibson Guitar will exhibit at the 2007 Summer NAMM show, July 27-29, 2007 in Austin, Texas showcasing a host of new products and interactive exhibits in Booth #538 at the Austin Convention Center.

As part of the musical giant's offerings, guests will get a first hand look at Garrison Guitars, the newest addition to the Gibson family of brands. Garrison Guitars are crafted using the latest technologies and innovations including the Griffiths Active Bracing System, a revolutionary method of guitar construction that took over six years to perfect. The single-unit brace combines all the acoustic guitar's top braces into a single unit and allows for the resonance to have an uninterrupted path of travel throughout the instrument and provides enhanced structural stability.

The recent acquisition of Garrison Guitars allows for Gibson Guitar to offer musical enthusiasts around the world the best acoustic guitar in every major price point.. The company's portfolio includes Gibson Acoustic guitars built in Bozeman, Montana, Epiphone acoustic guitars, and Garrison acoustic guitars. The company plans on shipping the new Garrison acoustic guitars by August of 2007.

Guests to the Gibson booth will also experience several daily surround-sound demonstrations by clinician Bart Walsh. The Gibson HD.6X-PRO Digital Guitar system will be demonstrated daily and schedules will be posted at the booth. A sneak peek at the brand new Epiphone "Chameleon" and new Montana-built Gibson Acoustic models will be on display along with the always popular Gibson Guitar pod where guests can try their hand at sounding just like their favorite rock star

Baldwin Piano, America's Favorite Piano will exhibit Baldwin, Wurlitzer and Hamilton brands in Booth # 330. Visitors will have a chance to view and experience a variety of vertical and grand pianos, to include digital and player-piano models. The innovative piano maker has announced a series of new Custom models which is set to take the industry by storm.
