Groove Tubes Introduces GT Convertible FET Condenser MicJan 24, 2005 Click image for closeup | Groove Tubes introduced their new GT Convertible FET Condenser Microphone at the NAMM show. An affordable mic, the GT Convertible "converts" between a hand-held vocal mic and an instrument mic with its removable ball windscreen. Built on the same mic body as their popular GT44 condenser, the GT Convertible features a shock mounted hypercardioid capsule and warm FET circuitry to give it low noise and high quality sonics. Its removable ball windscreen for vocal use easily unscrews, revealing a compact mid-sized (3/4") capsule that's perfect for miking acoustic instruments, amplifiers and more. The suggested retail price of the GT Convertible is $149 (US).For more information, visit their web site at www.groovetubes.com. |
