HD Accel Support Added to Waves V4 Plug-Ins

Waves has announced that the latest version of its software, Version 4, introduces support for Digidesign Accel DSP cards.

Support of the Accel DSP cards is now available for any Waves Version 4 DSP-based product. With the support for Accel, additional power becomes available. Waves processors will run more than 200% faster. For the end-user, this translates to the ability to run more than twice the number of Waves processors. Some processors, reverbs in particular, will gain even more power due to Accel's faster internal memory.
