The Alvarez Yairi WY1RR ($2499.00 list), based on the body design of the Alvarez Yairi WY1, features a Roland GK-2 hexaphonic pickup with a thirteen pin output built into the guitar. The thin folk sized body with rounded cutaway, features a solid spruce top matched to rosewood sides and back with a high tech black satin finish. The mahogany neck features an ebony fingerboard with abalone shell inlaid at the 12th fret position and on the headstock, with gold plated tuning machines. Abalone shell is inlaid around the soundhole rosette and adorns the body edges accenting the black satin finish of the guitar. The ebony direct-coupled bridge, in conjunction with the internal scalloped braces, maximize the top vibrations of the guitar giving the WY1RR a warm and full acoustic sound.
