Very often you'll see a bassist, who despite all his skill, only uses his first two fingers to play and when he does play with his other two fingers, his reach is to further frets is horrible. Here's one easy finger excersize to play over and over to solve both of those problems.

While playing this excercise, keep your first finger over the 1st fret at all times, second finger over second fret at all times, third on third, fourth on fourth. After this excercise, go to the next page for another one.
