And Finally, Jaco 16th's

Jaco was the guy who took Jamerson and Rocco and put them together in a unigue bass voice that had never been heard before.

His influence on bass playing today is everywhere. Listen to his various solo albums for a healthy dose of everything Jaco. "Jaco Pastorius" and "Word of Mouth" are just two.

Listen all the previous 16th note studies to see how we have followed the liniage through Jamerson and Rocco to Jaco 16th's that dance. By dance I mean that Jaco leaves holes, plays off the beat, and works with all the different 16th note combinations.
