Joemeek Unveiled "The First Real Series 80"Jan 25, 2001 Click image for closeup | The latest craze of producing rack mounting channels of classic consoles is well justified. How better to record great sounds than to use modern digital recorders with input modules from the classic mixing consoles? The legendary Trident series 80 console is certainly no exception. The success of this British engineered classic has prompted the release of many Series 80 so-called "original" channel modules. However, there has never been a series 80 module produced that is truly authentic... until now... founder Mr Malcolm Toft. Mr Toft, in cooperation with JOEMEEK makers Fletcher Electroacoustics Ltd., has finally produced (exactly 20 years from the original console's first showing), the definitive 80 module. "This EQ conforms in every way to my original series 80 specification and design." explains Malcolm Toft, "I am truly happy that this EQ carries the original feeling of the series 80 into the 21st century. And, of course, it sounds identical."For more information, visit their web site at www.joemeek.net. |
