The Ludwig Millennium Snare is a special Limited Edition package including a case. Announced Jim Catalano, Ludwig marketing manager. "We built in special features to produce its distinctive resonance, projection and bright sound." Special features include an engraved brass plated P86 Millennium strainer, brass plated tube lugs, and brass plated die cast hoops on the top and bottom. The unique Millennium strainer has lever action with swivel pivot for full snare contact. The strainer allows easy access to tension adjustment.

Two sizes are offered, in either the brass shell or Birdseye maple shell -- 5"x14" or 6-1/2"x14". The Millennium Snare is available with a brass shell or Birdseye maple shell, and is packaged with the Millennium badge and serial number plate, along with a deluxe case.
