Ludwig Accent Custom Outfits Expand

Ludwig launched their line of Accent Custom Drum Outfits in 2002 for beginning and advancing drummers. The Ludwig Accent Custom Series Drums feature natural finishes in three attractive colors of Black, Blue, and Wine. Each drum is marked with an attractive gold logo metal badge indicating the series and serial number.

Ludwig Accent Custom Series Drums are standard with Ludwig's Vibra-Band tom mounting system and double brace Ludwig 700 Series Stands, including a straight and boom cymbal stand. The top quality pedal included is the LM814FP Pro-Pedal with matching LM716HH Hi-Hat. Toms are supports with a durable Accent Style double tom holder with poly ball flexibility for easy access and multiple positions. A FREE drum throne is also included.

The drum shells on the Ludwig Accent Custom are Juniper/Mahogany and feature a matching wood snare drum. For 2003, Accent Custom Series Component Drums will be available featuring add-on bass drums, floor toms, and tom-toms to augment the outfits. For 2003, The Planet Z Cymbal package is an option with Ludwig Accent Custom Outfits at an additional cost. Ludwig is also offering Evans G2 double ply clear drumheads on the toms and the G1 single ply coated on the snare batter. The bass drum is now standard with the Evans EQ4 bass drum batter head with muffle ring. According to Ludwig Product Manager Jim Catalano, "We dressed up the Ludwig Accent Custom to include features of a professional set of drums and we now offer a great new sound combination with superior quality shells fitted with Evans Drumheads. All this at a price that makes it easy for the drummer to own a quality drum kit."

Ludwig Accent Custom Series Drum Outfits are available in three configurations including a Power Kit (LR1325EC - $1,015 USA retail price) and a Jazz Kit ((LR1305EC - $1,010 USA retail price.) Pictured is the new Ludwig Accent Custom Fusion Outfit featuring a 16x22" Bass, 14x14" Floor Tom, 8x12" & 8x10" Toms, and a 5x14" Snare. The LR1315EC Outfit has a suggested USA retail price of $1,015.
