M-Audio And Spectre Entertainment Group Hosting The SynchroScience DJ Technology Villa

M-Audio and the SPECTRE Entertainment Group will co-host the SynchroScience by M-Audio DJ Technology Villa at the 9th Annual Power Summit, an urban music conference held in the Dominican Republic from October 4-7. With the help of guest artist DJ Revolution and SPECTRE Entertainment Group, the DJ Technology Villa will showcase Torq—a revolutionary new DJ performance/production application created by M-Audio's SynchroScience division—to some of the world's most remarkable DJs.

M-Audio, a part of Avid Technology Inc., is a leading provider of creative hardware and software tools empowering musicians, DJs and remixers to create, perform and record—anywhere anytime. The company recently launched SynchroScience, a division dedicated to developing cutting-edge electronic performance products including Torq software. SPECTRE Entertainment Group, known for being one of the main providers and promoters of cutting edge music to the DJ community, will also be hosting the event.

Special guest DJ Revolution (Wake Up Show, KPWR) will kick off the event with a dynamic Torq demonstration from 2-4pm on Thursday, October 5. Afterward, attendees will get the chance to experience Torq for themselves, along with a variety of M-Audio hardware including Conectiv, Trigger Finger and more. M-Audio product specialists will be on hand to answer questions and show first-time users how easy it is to start making music with SynchroScience technology. M-Audio will also be giving away free ProSessions sound libraries, Trigger Finger controllers and MicroTrack 24/96 digital recorders.

The Power Summit, launched in 1998, is hip hop's premier music conference where urban entertainment's most influential players come together to forge powerful relationships, launch new artists and products, and redefine brands and set trends for the coming year. Each year's conference boasts over 2,500 attendees and features over 30 events packed into four exciting days. The Thursday night Pepsi Spot will feature the newest and hottest innovations in DJ technology. DJ Revolution will provide a demonstration of the new SynchroScience by M-Audio DJ software, Torq. There will also be displays of other M-Audio hardware at the event, including the Conectiv, Trigger Finger and more.
