On this page, the notes have gone down one more string.
If you have a five-string bass, use your "B" string and play the low notes one perfect fourth lower.
If you have a six-string, you can use your "B" and "C" strings.

The next step to this exercise is to transpose it down the neck toward the nut.
Try starting again from the beginning with L.H. exercise #1, only now play one semi-tone lower at "Gb" on the "D" string, or at the fourth fret on electric bass.
