Designed by Ned Steinberger, well known for his design of the Steinberger guitar and the CR4M double bass, Evans’ new drum keys are unlike anything currently on the market. The keys are drop- forged, not die-cast, which makes them much more durable – so durable that they come with a lifetime warranty. The Evans drum key is ergonomically designed for comfort and has a knurled knob for quick, easy spinning. Its magnetic head helps prevent slipping and stays in place for fast tightening and loosening. The bit key is designed to fit most variable-speed cordless drills and screwdrivers. Both keys have rattle-free design: they grip tight to a tension rod during play so they won’t buzz.
