New Finishes, 4-Piece Set Added to Tama's Starclassic Performer Line

Tama's Starclassic Performer birch drum sets were on display at the Anaheim NAMM Show sporting two new finishes, Red Sparkle Fade and Blue Galaxy Fade. Also setting the drums apart from previous offerings was a new 4pc set-up featuring one cymbal stand-mounted 9 x 12" tom, a 16 x 16" floor tom, a 6.5"x 14 snare and an extra-deep 18 x 24" bass drum with no tom mount, a first for Starclassic Performer.

Starclassic Performer sets in the new 4pc configuration list for $2769.99. Included in the display sets were new upgraded Tama Roadpro cymbal stands featuring a new Quick Set tilter which uses a system of discs instead of teeth for greater stability and adjustability. Roadpro stands are featured on all Tama Superstar and Starclassic drum sets.

Starclassic Performer drums feature 6mm, 6-ply 100% birch shells (bass drum 7mm, 7- ply; snare drum 8mm, 8-ply). The rack toms are mounted are mounted with Tama's Star-Cast free-suspension mounting system. With the addition of Red Sparkle Fade and Blue Galazy Fade 11 different high gloss painted finishes are available.
