New Focusrite Platinum VoiceMaster PRO Announced

The Focusrite Platinum VoiceMaster PRO will be available this month. The Platinum VoiceMaster Pro is a voice optimized channel strip with all the processors required to gain total control over vocals. New flexibility also allows use as an instrument processor and A/D converter. And, it will improve the quality of the recorded signal when using DAW's and digital consoles.

The Platinum VoiceMaster PRO is a 2U mono rack-mount device from Focusrite. It's a revised version of the original VoiceMaster unit, and features every processor required to record vocals with precision and musicality.

VoiceMaster PRO enjoys a number of new processors taken from more recent Focusrite units, as well as some new features of its own. Every processor is optimized for recording vocals. VoiceMaster PRO also features a 24-bit/96 kHz A-D option, ensuring the shortest possible digital route in to your DAW, as well as a comprehensive monitoring section for zero latency recording and headphone mixes.

VoiceMaster PRO will ship October 2002 with an MSRP of $750. VoiceMaster PRO A-D (same as current TrakMaster/Penta A-D) will carry and MSRP of $250.
