New S500 Stereo Power Amp from Samson

Designed for larger live sound venues, commercial installations and powering small PA systems, the new S500 stereo power amp from Samson delivers 250 watts a side into 4 ohms and 500 watts into 8 ohms in bridged mono mode.

The amps feature a temperature-sensitive, speed-controlled fan for reliability. It also includes a stable bipolar design for long life and enhanced audio performance. The front panel has two input level controls with 42 detents for greater accuracy and 3-segment output LED metering. Other features include dual protection LEDs and special relay-controlled outputs linked to the protection LEDs to avoid speaker damage in case of fault.

Practical features include banana jack outputs with Speakon connectors; XLR inputs and locking TRS inputs; a resettable fuse; parallel outputs to "daisy-chain" several of these amps together.
