This spring, Ampeg will release the Scrambler Series Effects Pedals. Based on the original concept of the Scrambler Pedal from 1969, these pedals feature True Bypass Circuitry and Heavy-duty Die-cast metal designs. The SCP-OD overdrive is the re-issue of the original Scrambler. The Texture control provides Octave Multiplied harmonic content to the signal, which the Balance control varies the amount of overdrive. The SCP-OCT pedal is the Sub-Octave Divider circuitry from the SVT5PRO and B5R amp heads. This circuitry tracks quickly, and sustains the octaved note during decay.
