Novation and Overloud Join Forces at Messe 2007

Novation, the UK-based manufacturer of world-class synthesisers and software control solutions, are excited to be partnering with Italian software company and Almateq brand, Overloud, experts in the field of accurate Guitar Amp simulation.

Rob Jenkins, Focusite/Novation's director of Product strategy, alongside Thomas Serafini, VP R&D Manager of Overloud, invite all Messe press attendees to witness the signing of a contract on the Novation booth (Hall 5.1, Booth A50) at 11am on Wednesday 28th March 2007.

This collaboration falls in line with the future direction of Novation, in creating a broader group of products for all musicians, including today's guitarists. Nio 2 | 4 is the first example of this. A USB 1.1 Interface featuring Direct FXO technology, nio 2 | 4 is set to ship with a host of Overloud amp simulations, including the most famous British and American amps, overdrive and distortion stompboxes, alongside a mass of classic Novation effects, many derived from the classic Supernova II.

As Jenkins states: "I look forward to a future developing products with Overloud, and as a guitarist myself, I especially look forward to working with Thomas. His expertise in guitar amp simulation technology is beyond compare. I also must admit, it's always nice to sip a glass of champagne, sharing it with our press chums, so early in the show."
