| Crate announced that it has redesigned its acoustic series. CA models now feature new cosmetics, top mount controls, and improved ergonomics; in addition, two models feature Crate's new Automatic Feedback Filtering circuit. The CA30DG "Taos" model and the CA125DG "Telluride" model retain the same functionality as the CA30D and the CA125D, the two most popular models in the Crate Acoustic line. However, the new CA6110DG "Gunnison" and CA120DG "Durango" models feature intuitive, easy to operate controls, two channel operation, an automatic feedback elimination circuit and can accommodate instruments with piezo and condenser pick-up systems. Each channel has both an XLR and 1/4" input with full tone controls; the amps also feature phantom power to the XLR condenser. Both the Gunnison and the Durango feature Crate's new patented feedback elimination circuit designed to help players "notch out" two different unwanted acoustic feedback frequencies, automatically providing a 15dB cut in a precise 15Hz width.
