Rocktron Releases New Line Of Velocity Guitar AmplifiersJan 05, 2007  Click image for closeup | Rocktron has released a new line of Velocity guitar amplifiers, including the V50D model, a 50-watt amp that offers chorus and digital delay. Featuring two Rocktron Velocity VSG8 (8 inch) speakers, the V50D model incorporates Rocktron's famous screaming distortion tones on the Distortion channel, and pristine clean tones on the Clean channel. The effects can be controlled with either front panel select controls, or by optional Rocktron RFS2 footswitch. The Chorus features both Rate and Depth controls while the Digital Delay provides controls for Delay Time, Delay Regeneration and Delay Mix. The V50D model includes the new Rocktron lighted logo for a special stage look, a headphone jack on the front panel for private practice, and 1/4" line out jacks for connecting directly into a recording device or pa system. As a bonus, two speaker output jacks (left and right) can be used to connect additional speaker cabinets. MSRP is $309.00 and the Velocity V50D is now shipping.
