SABIAN, Ltd., the award-winning cymbal manufacturer, today announced the 10 finalists in its "SABIAN Dream Spot," a promotional contest that will give one lucky undiscovered band a chance to play 10 dates on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour. The winning band will play on the "Kevin Says" stage, the launching pad for numerous SABIAN bands including renowned favorites "My Chemical Romance," "Fall out Boy," "Avenged Sevenfold" and "All American Rejects."
Hundreds of bands submitted entries for the "Dream Spot" contest. Preliminary judging was conducted by a panel of industry professionals including Vans Warped Tour representatives, magazine editors and SABIAN's artist relations team, who narrowed the list down to 10 finalists. Those finalists represent a variety of musical genres and hail from all over North America.
" 'Dream Spot' is SABIAN's most exciting promotion to date," said Stacey Montgomery-Clark, SABIAN's director of marketing. "We're thrilled to offer an undiscovered band the opportunity to perform in front of thousands on the Vans Warped Tour, on one of the world's biggest music events."

for fan voting between June 1 and June 15. The "Dream Spot" winner, the band receiving the most fan votes, will be announced June 16, and will hit the road with the Vans Warped Tour in August. Final 10 "Dream Spot" Bands and their hometown:

Along with playing 10 Vans Warped Tour dates, the winning band receives a $10,000 credit for band gear at a participating retailer; a one-year SABIAN endorsement for its drummer; and a one-year 3D micro-site on www.cafesonique.com
The Vans Warped Tour, a music and extreme sports festival, was created in 1994. Along with music from more than 70 bands, the tour will feature half pipes and ramps for skateboarders and bikers. The Warped Tour will begin in late June and continue through the end of August.
