Sabian Introduces The Carmine Appice Limited Edition 22" Ride Cymbal

SABIAN has introduced the 22" Limited Edition Carmine Appice Vintage Ride cymbal. Developed by the SABIAN Vault Team in collaboration with legendary rock drummer Carmine Appice, this medium-heavy, low-profile model with a vintage-style bell will be limited to 200 pieces. Appice's credits include the Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne and Blue Murder, as well as author of the No. 1 best-selling drum-set study book, "Realistic Rock."

Said Appice: "SABIAN is the modern, innovative cymbal company, but the roots of its craftsmen go way, way back. Those cymbal makers know what vintage cymbals sounded like, and they know how to make them. This Vintage Rock Ride has a clean stick sound, but the overall response is nice and dark; very rich with tone. Hand Hammered from SABIAN's B20 bronze, the Limited Edition Carmine Appice Vintage Ride has a traditional-sized bell (same size as the popular Raw Bell Dry Ride) and is hammered and fully lathed with traditional wide-blade lathing. This model is available exclusively in Natural Finish.
