Spectrasonics Release Omnisphere Version 1.2 with 64-Bit Support

Spectrasonics today announced the release of Omnisphere(r) version1.2 with full 64-bit cross-platform support for the award-winning virtual instrument. The Omnisphere update features over 200 new Omnisphere patches for over 7,000 total sounds in the factory library. Version 1.2 includes new features and enhancements to the Spectrasonics STEAM Engine(tm) including improved browser features, new synthesizer filter algorithms and a new 'Sample File Server' function giving the software the ability to go beyond 32-bit memory limits on Mac OSX systems. With the new update Omnisphere joins Trilian and Stylus RMX(r) as fully Mac and Windows native 64-bit plug-ins. The Omnisphere version 1.2 update is a free as download for all registered Omnisphere users. New in Omnisphere Version 1.2:
