Submersible Music And Big Fish Audio Partner On New DrumCore DrummerPacks

Submersible Music and Big Fish Audio today announced that two Big Fish Audio loop libraries will be shipping as DrumCore expansion packs this October.

"Brain: One Stroke Done", featuring GrooveSets and drumkits by drummer Bryan "Brain" Mantia (drummer for Praxis, Primus, Tom Waits, Buckethead and Godflesh among others), will now be available as a DrummerPack.

Also, the popular "Roots of South America 2" will be available, which features latin percussion grooves intended to be used with R&B, jazz, hip-hop and many styles other than pure latin productions. These new DrummerPacks feature both audio loops and drum and percussion sounds available as single hits or ready-to-play kits in DrumCore's MIDI instrument.

Tom Meadows of Big Fish commented: "We like DrumCore since it helps you quickly find and audition the loops. It keeps users from having to search through a bunch of folders or figure out how to build their own kit with individual hits. Just click and listen, then export it to your DAW. Like all DrummerPacks, this content comes pre-configured with metadata for use with the DrumCore search engine. This provides quick access to grooves, fills, variations and individual drum sounds. Search content based on feel (straight, shuffle, etc.), time signature and tempo. Users can even add their own search criteria (new styles or comments, for example).

Content is arranged in "GrooveSets," which are a collection of related beats, variations and fills that serve as a construction kit for song creation. Most GrooveSets include hi-hat and ride patterns to compliment traditional verse-chorus structures. All packs can export from DrumCore directly to tracks in applications that support "drag-and-drop" such as Acid®, Audition®, Cubase®, Digital Performer®, Live™, Logic®, Nuendo®, Pro Tools® 7 and Sonar™. Audio exports in standard audio formats such as WAV and AIFF and REX2.

Brain: One Stroke Done and Roots of South America 2 will be available for $79.99 each,(US retail price). Both libraries require DrumCore 2 (Mac® or PC). Example drum tracks using these products' GrooveSets are available in the DrummerPack area on the DrumCore website. These DrummerPacks will be available in October from the Big Fish and DrumCore websites and via most music software retailers.
