TC Ships VoicePrism Plus and VoiceCraft Upgrade CardOct 28, 2001 TC-Helicon is now shipping the new VoicePrism Plus Human Voice Modeling|Formant Processor, a Vocal processor for stage and studio, featuring Voice Modeling technology. Voice Modeling is essentially real-time resynthesis and reshaping of the human voice. It offers a variety of ways in which to process the vocal input, including the ability to add breath, growl, rasp, head and chest resonance, inflection or vibrato. The VoicePrism Plus provides the ability to go directly from a phantom powered mic into its high quality 48V mic preamp to access any of the onboard processes including - compression, gating, dual fully parametric EQ, 4-voice harmony (with individually adjustable gender controls and humanizing parameters), lead voice Human Voice Modeling, 2 separate post-effects blocks (incl. Chorus/flange, delay and reverb with predelay), effects and harmony libraries, preset browser with context sensitive help menus, or even audition sampled human voices for preset previewing. Inputs and outputs include 1/4" analog, 24 bit AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital I/Os. TC-Helicon is also shipping their new VoiceCraft Voice Modeling Card, a new upgrade card for the company's debut live and recording vocal processor, the VoicePrism. VoiceCraft adds the additional DSP power, algorithms, Voice Modeling technology and hardware compliment to the processor as a path for VoicePrism owners to upgrade to the equivalent of a VoicePrism Plus.
