There is a storm on its way and guitar players will be coming from far and wide for their chance to harness the striking visual power and thunderous tone of the Takamine's new Limited Edition installment for 2007, appropriately titled "The Storm".

The thunderstorm is one of nature's most awesome and spectacular events, and is experienced worldwide on a daily basis. "The Storm", celebrates the phenomenon with a striking laser-cut rosette and intricate abalone-inlaid fingerboard that contrast with the all-black gloss finish on the guitar.

This dreadnought cutaway guitar is the first stunning black finish Limited Edition Takamine since 1996; with a matching gloss black headstock, neck, and black chrome machine heads, the LTD 2007 is a strong design statement. A striking abalone lightning bolt is inlaid into the polished striped Ebony fingerboard along with abalone raindrop fret position markers. The rosette, composed of laser cut Imbuia, Persimmon and acrylic, shows dark clouds lit up underneath by another abalone-inlaid lightning bolt. The tops of the clouds then blend into the black finish on the solid Spruce top.

A solid Sapeli Mahogany back and Sapeli Mahogany sides match well sonically with the solid Spruce top, giving Takamine-like superior acoustic performance that sounds as good as it looks.

A CT4B preamp and Takamine's benchmark Palathetic pickup complete the package and make the LTD2007 an instrument with thunderous acoustic-electric performance.
