Taylor Guitars Announces "Pre-Launch" Sale Date for Solidbody Electric Guitar Line

Oct 05, 2007

On November 23, 2007, Taylor Guitars' first-ever solid body electric guitars will hit the streets. A limited number of "pre-launch" Taylor solid bodies will go on sale at select chain stores, independent music stores and online retailers, with a major launch planned for winter NAMM, 2008.

Brand marketing director, Jonathan Forstot, says, "Our design crew was ahead of the game on this project, which will allow us to put a limited quantity into the market before the official launch in January. It won't be a lot of guitars, but at least a few Taylor fans will be able take one home before the holidays this year."

The highly anticipated Taylor solid body is available in Classic, Standard and Custom models. All three models feature Taylor's ultra-playable neck; a smooth-to-the-palm, fully adjustable, all-aluminum bridge; and proprietary humbuckers designed to deliver the sweet tones of a low-output vintage pickup, but with enough power to fully drive an amplifier.

A new performance video featuring noted Southern California guitar slinger, Marc Seal, is posted online now at www.taylorguitars.com. Seal recorded his Taylor solid body electric track live in the Taylor VIP venue in El Cajon.
