Two New P Series Subwoofers from Crate AudioJan 24, 2004

New for 2004, Crate Audio announced the addition of two new sub enclosures to their speaker line -- the P115S and P118S sub woofers. The Crate Audio P series sub woofers are single speaker, direct radiating, vented sub-woofer enclosures with built-in passive crossovers. The crossover is fixed at 120Hz. Both models feature 1/4" input jacks for use with either the sub-woofer's built-in crossover or an external active crossover that allows for easy connection in nearly every application. The P115 and 118S both have durable carpet-covering on the enclosures, along with a rugged 16-gauge steel grille for superior protection of the drivers The P115S features a high-power 15" low frequency driver designed for high power handling (200W continuous, 800W peak). The P118S features a specially designed 18" excursion low frequency driver that handles 300W continuous and up to 1200 watts Peak.
