Universal Audio Offers Rebate to Bomb Factory Users on New TDM Plug-Ins

Universal Audio announced a new rebate program for the TDM versions of their popular Powered Plug-Ins. Universal Audio's highly vintage compressor emulations, the 1176LN/SE and LA-2A, are now shipping and will soon be followed by a complete line of UA plugs-in available for TDM Digidesign Pro Tools HD & | 24 Mix for Mac OS9 & OSX. Universal Audio's 1176 and LA-2A TDM plug-ins are available individually or as a bundle at a reduced price.

As a special launch promotion Universal Audio is offering existing users of Bomb Factory's Classic Compressors a $50 dollar rebate on either the 1176 or LA-2A and a $100 rebate on the 1176/LA-2A bundle. This rebate offer is good for 60 days, from June 1st to July 31st, 2003.

Part of the reason for this promotion is make clear that Universal Audio and Bomb Factory are totally separate companies. Universal Audio owns the trademarks on both "1176LN" and "LA-2A" and there is no relationship between Universal Audio and Bomb Factory. Bomb Factory developed their Classic Compressor plug-ins totally independently from Universal Audio with no license of Universal Audio's technology or trademarks. Users of Bomb Factory's Classic Compressors who wish to take advantage of this promotions must fill out the a coupon--available UA dealers or online at www.uaudio.com --and send UA a copy of the sales receipt for the Universal Audio TDM plugs they purchased along with either a copy of the sales receipt for the Bomb Factory Classic Compressor plug-ins they purchased or serial number and Universal Audio will send them a check. This rebate offer is good for 60 days, for purchases between June 1st to July 31st, 2003.

Universal Audio TDM/ HD plug-ins are now shipping through Universal Audio dealers and distributors worldwide. The MSRP for 1176LN/SE, and LA-2A is $395. Universal Audio also offers both compressors in a bundle with an MSRP of $695.
