Virsonix, audio software developer, and BBE Sound announced the release of the Macintosh VST BBE Sonic Maximizer plugin. The BBE Sonic Maximizer is known for restoring "live presence" to recorded music and is a mainstay in professional recording studios. "For over a decade the BBE Sonic Maximizer has been employed by professional musicians, such as Aerosmith and Tim McGraw, and leading consumer electronic manufacturers, such as Sony, Aiwa, Alpine, Pioneer, to take the fidelity of both live and recorded sound to new heights of clarity and definition," says John McLaren, BBE president.
