Zildjian Introduces the Pipe Band Stick

Responding to growing worldwide popularity of Pipe Band Drumming, the Zildjian Drumstick Division of the Zildjian Company intoduced the Pipe Band Stick.

The unique techniques, tunings and head selection distinctive to Pipe Band drumming requires a very particular style of drumstick design. Zildjian's new Pipe Band Stick fills an immediate need for drummers who have had difficulty in the past finding a well-designed Pipe Band stick. This full sized stick is designed in classic Pipe Band Drumming fashion out of large diameter U.S. Rock Maple. The new Pipe Band stick features a large oval bead and long taper for a lively feel and response on today's high-tension drums. The stick is 16 inches long with a grip diameter of 0.800 inches.
