dbx, a Salt Lake City-based manufacturer of professional signal processing products and a division of Harman International, is bringing back the bass with the 120a Subharmonic Synthesizer, an upgrade of the dbx 120XP. The 120a maintains the same great features found on the 120XP, a synthesizer known for its unique ability to produce a Modeled bass note exactly an octave below the bass in the original audio.

The synthesizer contains a new design and new features that make it more user friendly. The 120a is specifically engineered to meet the needs of audio professionals and utilizes two separate bands of bass synthesis to provide the best combination of smoothness and control. Additionally, the independent Low Frequency Boost circuit enables the user to get the most out of high-performance low-frequency speaker systems. The upgrade has also incorporated RCA jacks into the unit to make it more compatible with equipment used by DJs. The 120a is an ideal solution for enhancing bass audio material for nightclub and dance mixing, DJ mixing and sound for both theater film. Suggested Retail: $299.95
